Assalaamu alaikum, InshaAllah, in our city, we are planning to have a fundraising dinner/iftar for the humanitarian crisis in Afghanistan. It is an event for muslims and non-muslims. And I am looking for an emotional thought provoking poem regarding this that would make people donate, inshaAllah. It will inshaAllah be read by a child, but of course the authors name would be mentioned (unless he/she does not want it to be mentioned) My only request is that it be non-political that addresses the humanitarian crisis. Also it is important that anyone can be moved by this poem, even if they are not muslim. Any contributions are appreciated. Please submit as soon as possible (latest November 30th) May Allah taa'ala reward you for your efforts. |
