I have been invited to a Muslim frriends home for dinner on
thursday. please could you give me a clue of a suitable small gift to
take.

A gift for the cook- flowers/ small plant are always nice! If you know she likes them- chocolates always are appreciated.

a box of really good dates (medjool, etc.)... both healthy and fitting for the month :)

Can't really go wrong with that combination but aren't there chocolate covered dates now?


Anyways how did the dinner go Richard, but more importantly welcome to the Madinah ;-)

yup! i tasted some amazing ones while waiting for a connencting flight to london in abu dhabi airport - mmm! :D

The dinner went very well. It was at the Pakistan Mission in the UK. The food was fantastic and i was made very welcome.
