Firstly Ramadan Mubarak :)

Secondly I was wondering how many people buy things over the Internet.

Thirdly I was wondering if there were any items people wanted to buy but did not find readily available in local shops or over the Internet? What would they be? What would you like to see available? e.g. halal baby food, clothes, scarves, books (which ones), videos?

Ramadan Mubarak

I buy a lot of things over the internet.

That would be nice if there zabiha certified foods available, and some of the books I have bought I have had a hard time finding them.  For example, the Distinguished Jurist Primer (paper back version), I had to buy it from the UK (and I live in the US), and Al-Hedeya (hanafi fiqh book) the bookstore only had one copy (so I bought it), and there was this book by Sheih Ibn Tamaiyya (r) about responding to a Christian Missionary (amazon.com seems to be out of the book), but Kashif told me that another translation of the book is coming out soon.  (Its 7 volumes and over 2500 pages).

As for audios, I only buy CDs, and sometimes the online bookstores are out of the nasheeds when the new titles come out.  For videos, I want to buy only DVDs, but some titles aren't available in DVD format.  In fact the next DVD I was thinking of purchasing would be Islam: Empire of Faith, I think amazon.com had it for $23.

DVD's may be difficult to find because the release date takes a long time, also some titles do not even get made into DVD format.

Do you know if the Islamic titles would be available in Islamic countries/Middle East in DVD format? I might consider importing them into Britain/US.
