Flying Shadows

I was walking home, daylight, 2 in the afternoon. And something flew above me, like a dark shadow. I don't know what it is/was or if I am imagining this, but when I looked up nothing was there, no bird nothing. And seemed so real.

Am I going mad? Or is there a more plausible mysic explanation?

wa'salam.

i feel silly admitting this..but i've always felt/sensed/perceived/seen etc...different phenomenons throughout my life which has kept me gluedddddddddddddddd to the reality of the unseen..there's a whole lot of hidden forces in this world, that we can not begin to fully comprehend....
it will be nice to get to the point of full clarity...and finally be able to say "aaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...it really ALL makes sense now..." :-);):):-)

assalamu alaikum,

Hania, maybe it was a passing cloud. Or maybe it was superman ;-D - the invisible one!

Imagination can certainly dramatise very simple events. For me, for awhile after having
watched the Sixth Sense I could not walk into a dark room without being spooked up and
imagining people/jinn/shayateen under my bed or right in the corner.

It could be a plane, helicopter, blimp, etc. If you live in the northern hemisphere at high lattitudes (like UK, northern america) then the sun is low in the sky at midday. A plane can move between you and the sun to create a shadow. And often times you cannot hear/see the plane because it is far away to your side. I have experienced such 'spooky' shadows more than once. So no need to feel ufoed :)

BTW, in such experiences one's first instinct should always be towards a physical explanation before thinking of the unknown. They always (almost always) have a physical explanation.

Plane, I didn't think about that :D I thought it was a bird, so only looked so far up and saw nothing. Then I touched my scarf incase I had bird dropping or something but nothing.

BUT I'm with Mystic on this one. Something strange does exisit and it's not an invisible flying superman.

In my house, I have had sensations of something pushing me. Not hard but soft on my shoulders.

Do ghosts exisit?

Han.

I shall be saying my duhaa's to protect me from shatan before I go to bed.

well, it finally "stopped"...and i was able to breathe again:):):):)

Alhamdullillah :-)
