Salam Alaikum..Is Lie strictly forbidden? When is Lie allowed? If you lie a person do this count at Judgement day, do we have payback from our good deeds to him/her or get from his/her bad deeds to our account? Wassalamu Alaikum...

asalaamu alaikum

i think a lie is allowed two times: in times of war to protect the ummah (actually that's an extra-normal circumstance), but in normal circumstances, to cover the fault of a brother (so as not to publically embarass and alienate your brother) and when a man is reconciling with his wife (i believe to save the marriage). asalaamu alaikum. abdullah,.

lying otherwise should be avoided at all costs...not to mislead our own souls and worse others...
