His name is Ibrahim and a bone marrow transplant may be his only chance of survival. His parents are trying to increase the number of Asians and Muslims who register as bone marrow donors and a couple of blood test drives have already been held. This is information about the next drives being planned: The next Anthony Nolan Bone Marrow Trust blood test drive to find bone marrow tissue matches will be held at PowerLeague, within Private Banks Sports Ground, Canadian Avenue, Catford SE6, (opposite Catford station). It will be on 4th December from 4pm to 7 pm and inshaAllah it will be open for all including council employees who have been block emailed internally and for the Asian and Muslim community where iftari and a place to pray will be provided. The organisers are also looking for people to help, support and publicise blood test drives in NW London (Willesden) and in Leicester.
