| [slm] I had a question...is there any special significance if one were to die while they were fasting? are there any other circumstances when there is more reward when you die? [wlm] Ruqayyah |

| [slm] I found a few texts which I'm not positive of the authenticity, but that relate to death while fasting in the month of Ramadhan and extra ajr. The first says that one who fasted for Allah and died while fasting will goes to Paradise (it also says that one who dies towards the end of Arafa or 9th of Dhil Hijja will go to paradise, and one who dies after giving charity will go to paradise.) Another one says, one who fasted and died, Allah will give him the reward to fasting until the Day of Judgement. In terms of other times when there is more reward: From my imam, I heard that whoever dies on a Friday night or day, he will be saved from the punishment of the grave and also that there is more reward.
