| asalamu alaikum, you want jock talk? hehe reminds me of a couple of days ago i was jus chillin with one of the brothers after Asr and all we talked about were working out and how little we'd be able to benchpress at the end of Ramadhan. Oh and he was telling me about this machine that Bruce Lee used to use- you put these pads onto your muscles, like your abs and there is a machine that pulses electric currents through the pads which make your muscles contract...anyone know what I'm talking about and any Bros (or sistas) using this? Yo mujaahid, WAKE UP dude! I'm sure you use somethin like this to tone yourself up for your battles right? wasalam, Ahmed |

| [slm] hmmm...well i dunno about all those electrical currents and stuff but what we do here is play hoops on weekends while fasting, so u get all thirsty and sweaty and stuff but no water, no gatorade. We do it every year, it's pretty cool. [wlm] |

| Salaams inshaAllah all is well with you all :) flyboy nz- yeah i know what you're talking about.. it's called "abenergizer".. i am always watching those infommercials, like proactive solution, abenergizer, that orange-glo stuff that can clean anything and everything and all that other stuff...i get easily persuaded though, i believe everything they say! hehehe but soppusedly, the abenergizer automatically works your abs and stuff electrically and you have to do nothing?! i don't know if it's true or not... one of my friends was thinking of getting it! hehe, she's weird :) bro hanif- wow, how do you know soo much about sisters?! *hmm, kinda fishy, don't you think?* :D two side notes..... 1) gosh brothers, you need to have a thread saying to liven up the place? what's up with that?! see, i always knew brothers were boring peeps ;p 2) we don't flicker our eyes every second! Yeah i used one for a couplke of weeks, they are freakey, they give you short, weak electric shocks, and they DO work, i got a six pack in about 4 weeks, but then thought, "if this is the good affect, surely it must have pretty nastey side aaffects", so i thought forget it! And i stopped using it. I dont know if thier are any dangers, but surely electricuting yourself for 50 minutes every night cannot be good for you! It does work though, but its best to just stick to the natural weight training, without the fancy gadgets, as it makes you stronger and healther, as is the whole point of working out! |
