| [slm] Jus' a little something to lighten the mood for everyone...The Ummah is going through a lot of stress. But the Ummah is not some collective thing "out there". Its within our souls. Each one of us is dealing with a struggle that is totally personal and Allah Knows best. What does this all mean Maliha? I am not a scholar or Ulemah...all the answers lie in the Hadith and more importantly the Quran. But the beauty of our religion is that the answers are there. Very clear. We do not need intermediaries. We do not "need" one person to get us there. It is Allah. Allah is one. To Him we belong and to Him we return. It doesn't get simpler than that. One a strategic level, with this knowledge, prayers and faith...Allah brings us together in love and respect and brotherhood and ties us in bonds of honor. The beauty of it all lies deep in the fact that despite our differences we worship the same One. There are no divisions. No hierarchies. Nothing. The absolution is liberating to say the least. It is freedom beyond no horizons or bounds. You can be anything you want to be. Be patient through afflictions. Persevere through your "down times"...But also be aware and look out for all the missed opportunities He is bringing your way while you may be sulking somewhere in the corner. As for the busy ones, stay busy!!!! You know what they say about idle time right???? Peace out:) [wlm] |
