| I was born in Conn USA and am living now in Washington State. By the way I have seen both Salaam and Salam which is it???? :) I have had this big desire for a very long time to visit the Middle East. Places I would like to see are Iran, Saudi, Pakistan and a couple others. I have been invited to visit by two families one in Jeddah, Saudi and the other in Pakistan. I hope some day I will get to visit. |

But it's more convenient to write "salam," so that's why you'll see a lot of people write that. Also, I don't believe there is any word in the English language that contains two consecutive a's. It kinda goes against some fundamental linguistic rules of the English language ... I *think* :) Wassalaamu alaikum. |

| Hajree I'll join you on the second page ;) Born Bred in malaysia. Never left this country before. Always get this question.. "So which foreign university did you study?" I've never left this country!!!!!! Just because I'm a Malay and can speak and write English doesn't mean that I was bred in a foreign country, though the English is mix between American (from the TV) and The Queen's English (from school ) . Sorry, just irritated by certain ppl here in my beloved country. |

Sheeshhh...ok ok. Born in Singapore to a father who has parents who came all the way from Java Island. So I am Javanese from my dad's side. Mom is Malaccan, Malaysia with Portuguese heritage (very very minor...tyvm). So I am Malay from my mom's side.
