| Time: A brush stroke of time aligned my soul in this space, Bearing witness to His Face, I search for the meaning of grace. I see beauty manifest in every second, and every breath I see the changing of seasons, The rhyme and reason of living and death, Chirping of birds, Languages and words, Variety of creation Forming lands and nations, I see evil and good, I see innocence served as food, I see life watching life with a Disappointed look, I see the depth of blue in the sky I see colors vibrant changing through my eyes, I see the sun rise and set I see loved ones lucky to have met I see the canvas of the night The space for respite, I see the bright rays of light Infusing the energy of His Might I see survival and revival A continuum of everything vital A brush stroke of time introduced my heart to this place, Bearing witness is my part in this space. -Maliha Balala |
