| as salaamu alaykum, On the first of the month, for some reason, all the folders have a "new" tag attached. To get rid of it, I have to start a new thread, which is why there are these "fixing the board" threads in all the folders. You can't post without something inside the message box. Because I've learned how to type properly (180wpm, thank you very much) the fingers of my left hand are on the keys "a" "s" "d" and "f", and because I'm left handed, it's the easiest thing to stick in the message box. Aiite? More explanation than you'd want eh? :) wasalaamu alaykum :) |

:) Hehe.. yeah. At least in highschool I did.. I won some award for it :) Man, considering how much stuff I post, if I typed any slower than that I'd *never* be off the board. It gets me in trouble though, because sometimes I type faster than I think. (same reason my tongue gets me in trouble :)) take care :) wasalaamu alaykum. |

| slm Se7en but the world record is about 170 wpm (212 wpm in short bursts) using a modified keyboard (DVORAK). The QWERTY keyboard does not allow for people to type at the maximum possible speed possible (from what I have read). http://sominfo.syr.edu/facstaff/dvorak/ When I took typing, my speed was 60 wpm. |

| Huh.. I feel stupid now.. :-/ Maybe I got the numbers wrong.. I just took [url=http://www.careerstep.com/typeintro.html]this[/url] test and I keep scoring in the 130s.. so maybe it was originally like 140, not 180 like I said. Sorry guys :( |

| slm I took Se7en's test and scored a 78 WPM, which is much higher then what I do (I do like 60 wpm). Has anyone else tried it? ??? |

| Salam, I am an extremely slow typer. I scored 43/min. But I guess this is an improvement..I failed keyboarding in high school..(don't laugh) I blame the darn type-writers...ancient machine made me fail. ^_^ salam merimda |
