| Hello everybody, I'm doing a piece for my "Health and Fitness" column on crazy fad diets and decided to post to see if any of the women here have tales to tell...either of your own diet past or some one you know. I've been researching this and some of the things I've found...the cabbage soup diet, the vinegar diet...!! Thanks! Sparrow |

| don't forget the grapefruit diet, the one (there's a book about this one) where you eat fruits only in the morning but i forget the name - written by a married couple (?), cottage cheese diet, they are all so bad! my aunt goes on that cabbage soup diet regularly and it is so stupid - 10 oz. of steak and loads of tomatoes one day, bananas and milk the next, just gross. she gets really bad gas on account of the soup but she continues anyway... here's an entertaining website: http://www.faddiet.com/ i think the more ridiculous the diet, the more inclined people are to think that it MUST work. |

| there is the catabolic food diet where u eat foos that take more calories to burn than r in them....grapefruit is one of e.m........there is some book on it.......lol thats all i remeber |
