| [slm] this is the first poem i'm posting on the board - tell me what you think plz :) [color=Red]The Gateway of Light[/color] [color=Blue]That light at the end of the tunnel that everyone talks about - Well, it just got smaller for me. I always imagined that it would be a gateway of light to step into - But as I get closer someone on the other side closes the gate a fraction My dreams, like butterflies escape through the gap - leaving me wondering ... What happens when I reach the gateway - Will there be no light? Will I be left to wander deaf, dumb and blind? Frantically I ask myself this question again and again, Panic begins, I tremble, then peace steals over me. I remember that wudu, salah and nafl prayers are the best remedy for depression - you see Our [color=Red]Rabb[/color] has told us that if I remember Him, he will surely remember me! Now as I prostrate to worship my Lord, I see that gateway ahead, No longer is it dark and steadily narrowing, For [color=Red]Ar-Rahman[/color] has opened it wide. Attia Hussain [wlm] [/color] |
