| slm :) My dear beloved brothers and sisters, I pray that everybody is in the best of health and Imaan. Today was the 26th of the holy month ie 26 days of the blessed month have gone ... more than 2/3 of the month of mercy and forgiveness has gone and I thought it would be befitting just to send this humble reminder (which the writer is more in need of then anybody else.....) # My beloved brothers and sisters in islam we must always turn to Allah (swt) for what ever we need and we must make dua and ask His forgiveness for the short comings which we have. may Allah (swt) send blessings upon the beloved prophet (saw), his family and his companions (may allah be please with them all) # For Allah is the doer of all things He is the lone creator and sustainer of the heavens and the world. In His hands lies the Health, Wealth, Success and Failure of all things. # Success can only be achieved by following the commandments of Allah (swt) through the sunnah of the prophet (saw). May He (Allah swt) grant us guidance and forgiveness especially in this blessed month. #We must turn to Allah in every instance that we have. Every individual should at least once during the course of these remaining blessed days raise his/her hands and ask forgiveness for the short comings which we have .... make dua that Allah (swt) forgives the sins which we have committed, are committing [willingly, knowingly and unwillingly and unknowingly]. # We must increase our ‘ibaadah and du’a. Remember that any of the remaining nights could be laylatul qadr (the night of power) where our deeds are equal to more than a 1000 months! # Make du’a for your families, your friends and the muslim ummah throughout the world in each and every single country .... make dua that Allah guides those without guidance (ie non-muslims)....and most important of all: make du’a for me! :) # Make du’a for those who have left this world .. who are now realising that the time that they had in this world was very precious..... that like everything in this world it has to end someday and that day they will face their creator.... may Allah provide us shelter and guidance on that day. # Make du’a that Allah continues to utilise us for his deen for Allah is not in need of us we are in need of Allah...... make dua that he continues to give us the energey to make effort and spread the deen in universities/colleges/offices/masaajid and other areas. # Never be disheartened if nobody listens or nobody turns up to events or talks etc, never be disheartened if those around you pay no attention or do not support you ... with sincerity and devotion Allah will up lift that little effort and make it a means of guidance and the reward of such an effort would be made available to you on that day when each and every soul shall be looking for one good deed to edge their account towards jannah. # Even if one person listens and benefits or decides to change his or her life then indeed the rewards and mercy of Allah shall be before us may be not now but definitely later # We must be patient, show hikmah, love and respect for all muslim brothers and sisters.... # Finally in summary we must make du’a, we must make effort and we must remain dedicated and constant in our efforts. I pray that as your hearts have softened you will forgive this brother for any short comings and that you all benefit from this month of mercy, forgiveness and blessings. wlm :) |
