| Assalamualaikum Is no one mad? Does no one care about how OBL is using Islam? What was shown yesterday was disgusting. He was talking about what happened in New York with laughter and saying it was done in the name of Allah and Islam. How is no one outraged at what he has said? The Muslim people need to stand up and speak out against OBL. He is using Islam to futher evil. Do you not care what he has done and is doing to our religion. |

And you know what makes me really mad? How Zionist soldiers using american supplied weapons killed Muslim children ages 3 and 4 just a couple of days ago. Want to know what makes me really really mad? how the only functioning Islamic state was destroyed with the help of hypocrites and puppet so-called "muslims." How many times do the Muslims have to say terrorism is not Islam? I am tired of saying it and hearing about it. Move on, do something else. Help your neighbor or the old lady cross the street or feed the homeless. Our religion is intact, its the same Sunnah the same Quran. Aren't you mad about what the Bush administration is doing to the Muslims? And what they are doing to our charities? Osama you say, being a Muslim, is presenting a bad image to the rest of the world about us. Bush's cronies, the Media and many bigoted non muslims, I say, are presenting a bad image about islam to everyone. Oh and this topic is being discussed in the Ummah Center. | asalaamu alaikum, I think the brother/sister here is not necessarily asking for a condemnation of terrorism, It's OBVIOUS that Islam is not a terrorism-sanctifying religion and that Islam is often used and manipulated quite wrongly to justify many actions. I think this brother/sister is aking what he is asking: Is no one mad? Does someone issuing fatwas without authority (as far as i know) and proclaiming religious decrees about death to all Americans really upset us as un-Islamic or do we just give blind side to "our brother in faith" (IF he is responsible, IF)? Does someone who killed 4-5 hundred odd muslims and thousands of non-muslims in a plane crash into a building really get our consideration? Do we just take his side because the other side has flaws, hence we wash one side free of all wrongdoings? Is no one mad how most of the uniformed world is taking his actions to be Islam? Is no one mad how muslims THEMSELVES have not flushed out the criminals from within their ranks (now that's always hard to say who's a criminal and who is not)? Shouldn't we clean the ummah before we try to clean the world? Is no one believing Western media claims that about Bin Laden doing this, simply because the media is "kaffir" and by default lies? Is no one mad that thousands of Afghan civilians and true-hearted mujahideen have died, pitting muslim aginst muslim, in a war campaign that is claimed to be essentially after one man who refuses to surrender himself, face the adversary, and openly explain his case rather than deny his involvment in shady ways and on the other hand praise the action and glorify it? Is no one mad that because of him, many TRUE causes of jihad and true practices of it in PALASTINE are being soiled when they are judged by a pre-determined generalization moulded by OBL's brand of Islam? I think THAT was what the brother/sister is asking for, not the routine condemnation yet conformity to muslim reactionary defense mechanisms such as "He obviously didn't do it, he's muslim, he doesn't do those things, Western media is ALL LIES. Period." That is what that brother/sister is asking I feel, regardless of my UNMENTIONED opinion, these are questions we should all consider to be sure of our stance on this issue. Is no one mad? No, I think we are all mad if we step into this neurotic denial that one side is evil and the other pure good. | [slm] When I step into the realm of this political madness, I get so confused period. Subhana Allah we are involved in a war where we can't tell the enemies from friends, the lies from truth, the believers from Kaffirs, even at some points we can't differentiate who are the true mujahideen and who aren't. Everything seems grey and the *long* drawn out, complex, theories and analysis they have on the media plus the perfect little media clips don't help much at all to crystallize the truth of this whole situation. We are dying...Yes...and everyday the attack takes on a different and more treacherous form. When the charities and Hawalas (fund transfer businesses) shut down, it was yet another catastrophe to burn the bridges connecting the haves and have nots within the Ummah. We are to be left begging for crumbs at the doors of missionaries and kuffar and OBL is only escalating what was already happening to us for decades... How do we flush out criminals within our ranks when we have taken kaffirs to be our intimate consorts??? How do we clean the ummah when we haven't cleaned our own homes??? How can we not question the western media when we know propaganda is the best used weapon during war???
