(yet sometimes we do play when he is asleep or in his room) ;-D Its just not a game I can play too often.. Jenna :) |

| asalaamu alaikum lol I can just tell the ages of the posters right off by their board games... how nostalgic lol ludo is very weirdly familiar, but I have no idea exactly what it is... othello is cool on computer monopoloy is too long but alright when i was young SCRABBLE and TRIVIAL PURSUIT RULE! (I like those nerdish games lol) hmmm... when I was younger, Mousetrap... gosh I hate those new-age board games or those haraam-bordering games that big up youth to be interested in sexuality and so on. chess is cool... I once met two six year old twins who were chess champions for their province... and THEY BEAT ME in chess... and they knew how to checkmate me in four moves or something. Chess is just so imbalanced because people get so good at it, that you have to find an appropriate opponent. What does Islam say of dice games? | Salaams hehe yeh, i know it's not a board game- hey, we aren't restricted to *just* board games in this thread :D but yaay bro, you know what i'm talking about? and hehe, yes, it's a pakistani game, my cousins thought me and we always played it, but now i've forgotten :( do you remember how it goes or no?! anyone knows, can you tell me cause actually today i remembered, i actually need it for something, so if you know, please tell me, thanks! :)))) all rightey and as of board games- i have TONS that i love, i don't want to bore you guys, but my university has a board game like monopoly, i got it during orientation and left it on the gym floor, LOL..but my friends hate board games, i'm the only one who forces them to play, i think they are much funner than just going out to the mall and walking..it's nice to just sit with a bunch of friends and play a board game, this way everyone's together and it's easier than all of us going out to the mall or ice skating and what not :) all rightey, Ta Ta peeps! |

| AA OK, Sis Hajree here you go. Each player has one of the names : Yassu, Punju, Har, Qabootr, or Dholi.. Each player puts down one hand on the floor with a number of fingers outstreched. Count the fingers, saying "Yassu, Punju, Har, Qabootr, Dholi..". The name which is reached on the last finger goes out. This continues till everyone goes out except the last player. He/she is now the loser. At this point, everyone tickles him/her until he says "Rahamtoallaah!". |

| Salaams huh? okee, i remember the part about each person puts down their fingers, but umm, i didn't get what you meant after that... and tickle part?! we didn't do that..we did that thingy where the loser closes their hands together and the winner gets to hit it until the loser can take their hand away in time...get what i mean?! it's hard to describe..but usually it's hard for the loser to take their hand away in time, so it's usually hit numerous times and RED! poor loser, hehe! |
