Seeking Judgement from the UN and making Allegiance with the UN

We are here to worship Allah. It is not possible to have your allegiance with Allah if you also make alliance with His (swt) enemies. These matters are a contradiction. The United Nations is a kufr organization which is a tool of the kaafir imperialists. The UN is governed by international Law and Islam only recognizes the law of Allah "Verily His is all creation and commandment" (al A'raaf 7:54) and Allah is AL Hakeem (The only Legislator) and making law is making shirk with Allah and contradicts the Shahaadah The UN recognizes the borders between Muslim lands which were drawn up by the colonialists such as Britain and France who destroyed the previous Islamic State which was one united country. The UN would prohibit any unifying of Muslim lands when Allah made the unity of Muslims an obligation. Did Allah tell us to make allegiance with Taaghoot or to reject Taaghoot? Obvoiously we must reject that which contradicts Tawheed "Whoever disbelieves (rejects) taghoot and believes in Allah then he has grasped the most trustworthy handhold..." (al Baqarah 2:256)

As for walaa (allegince) this is only for mu'mineen "Your awliyaa are Allah, His messenger, and the believers..." (al Maa'idah 5:55)

As for the kufr of allegiance with kuffaar, this is established by many ayaat. "You will not find any people that believe in Allah and the Last Day loving those who oppose Allah and His messenger, even though they were their fathers, sons, brothers or relatives..." (al Mujaadilah 58:22)Allah said concerning the Bani Israaeel "You see many of them turning in friendship to the disbelievers, evil indeed is that which their souls have sent forward before them, Allah's anger is upon them and in torment will they abide. If only they had believed in Allah, in the messenger of Allah and in what is revealed to him. Never would they have taken them for friends and protectors, but most of them are rebellious wrongdoers." (al Maaidah 5:81-82) This principle also applies to Muslims. And Allah (swt) says "And do not take the Jews and Christians for awliyaa. They are awliyaa to each other. And he among you that turns to them is of them..." (al Maai'dah 5:51)and "The believers should not take the disbelievers as friends rather than believers. Whoever does that has nothing to do with Allah." (aali I'mraan 3:28)and “Give to the munafiqoon the news that there is a painful torment, those who take disbelievers for awliya instead of believers, do they seek honor, power and glory with them? Verily then to Allah belongs all honour, power and glory.” (an-Nisa 4:138-139) There are many other ayaat which explain this matter of walaa and baraa. It is a clear a'qeedah issue established by qati' (definite) daleel. It is clear kufr to give allegiance to the one who says 'I disbelieve in Allah' or 'We don't have to obey Allah'.

As Salamu Alayka,

I cannot disagree with any of the straightforward texts and interpretations of the Quran that were utilized to back up the views held by the author on alliance with the U.N. and acceptance of its authority to make decisions for Islamic countries.

I also understand however, how difficult is must be for leaders to deny U.N. agencies aid when so many Muslims may starve or die without the food and medicine.  It is a matter of iman.  Being with a person who is suffering, it is hard to tell them, even on a personal level, to encourage them to have iman and yaqin.  It is hard to expect that they can see through their pain to the will of Allah SWT and the cure that rests with Allah SWT alone.  Althought I find it difficult on a personal level, I can only imaginge what it would be like to have to encourage a whole community or country.

Where I find my own stance on the U.N. and allegiance with it and other international, federal, state or local agencies is based upon a hypercritical view of the consequences.  If the help or aid has strings that are tantamount to allowing kafr the ability to introduce rules of acceptance that introduce kafr means of conducting transactions or relationships within my home or work, I decline.  If I have paid for it through other means in advance, or can accept help in the form of a gift, then I accept it, as long as it is not directly from a charity or organization with direct ties to a deen other than al-Islam, such as a Christian or Atheist organization.  These are personal ways I conduct my own affairs, again with a very critical eye upon whether or not deen is effected now or in the future.

I personally do not take aspirin, tylenol, antibiotics, or vaccinations.  I do not go to the 'dr.' when I am 'sick'.  Then again, I do not live in a country or region where certain illnesses are common and unavoidable, which without proper attendance with medication or antibiotics one could not survive.  So my tenets when it comes to doing other than what is prescribed in the sunnah and Quran is far easier, alhamdulillah.

I personally believe that all medicines and food aid, on an international level, should be in the form of a gift, and given without the expectation of a transformation of values or beliefs.  Unfortunately, what is advertised is often not what you end up buying.  Aid agencies that stress their own necessity on the world scene, may enter into Islamic countries with a hidden agenda, one of conversion of individuals and subversion of Shariat.  It was the case of hundreds of years, that 'help' internationally meant, destruction of ethnic and cultural values locally, loss of life, and displacement of original inhabitants eventually.  It is not without reason and intelligence that many communities and ethnic groups look upon international aid, as ethnic and cultural 'fade' mechanisms.

I hope that I was clear about my opinion re: U.N. allegiance.  Where a straight out allegiance with, and abidance by rules is concerned, by means of which the deen that Allah SWT has set down is subverted within the country that accepts aid, I find such acceptance by leaders of said help to be dispicable and a reflection of possible weakness in iman.  Where aid is accepted in the form of a gift from a non-religious organization, and the deen of Allah SWT is not compromised, then this may be acceptable in my personal opinion.

Masha'Allah, if my iman is weak at this time, then my comments are weak.  This is based on what I know and feel at this time, which like all of you may change with an increase or decrease in iman and 'ilm.

Shukran for posting those comments.

Regards,

QAK
