| Inner Child By Jenna A girl lies on a bed, curled up as if in her mother's womb, screaming in pain; Doesn't anyone hear her? She is crying, her heart so heavy, yet her mouth is not open; it's her soul the grief carries. The feeling of grief is so overwhelming; she tries to ignore it; Doesn't anyone see her trying? Most people try to pull her down and when she says, "no leave me alone," they laugh at her and frown. But even with all this going on around her, she doesnt fall prey to dispair; that is because she knows Allah is always there. ~~~~~~~ [slm] What do you think of my poem? Jenna |

| Assalamu Alaikum waRahmatullaHi waBarakatuHu, This was a very beautiful poem. I thought this poem was a girl who lived in the 20th century. To me, this poem talked about a girl who lived in the 20th century in a bad environment. She committed a lot of sins and she's repenting for her actions, that is why her heart is heavy. Her friends, which have a bad influence on her, are inviting her to do bad but she is saying no to them. They are laughing at her but she is not the one who will be sorry, they will. She is seeking protection from Allah-u Subhana Wata'ala against those girls and against everything in life that will pull her away from the right path. I really loved this poem and I can't wait for your next one Jenna. Keep up the good work Insha'Allah. Wassalamu Alaikum, Betul |
