This site is really cool! if the links above weren't working, try this:  http://afl.ajeeb.com/afl/level1/level.html

I've been using it for the past week, and it's great! esp since you can hear the people saying the arabic and then it breaks it down into vocab words, and drills, etc.

Also, i've been getting these really cute mashallah emails from KidsIslamicStories.  Lately, they've been sending emails of a story about an ant that is walking on the ground, and then over to a boy, and then walks up the boy from his feet to his face. As it does this, it goes over all the body parts, it's real cute!

They also send out a lot of vocab and then send out quizzes too!

They've also been sending another one about a man and his son, and they use the Diglot Weave Method, where they weave in a few words of arabic at a time. Mashallah, it's very effective! if you'd like to sign up, i think you can get send an email to:

Assalamualaikum,

When people mention of this list, it always manage to make my day because I know personally the lady and her husband and her kids who are behind the list. They also write books and last week when visiting them, the eldest son showed his own cd that he made on his own without anyone help!!! HE's only 8!!!
Alhamdulillah, they've done wonderful things for the kids in the past, present and InsyaAllah, in the future. If you're loyal follower of the list (unlike me , I'm guilty of it), be sure to expect lotsa goodies coming in the future . I'm not telling what though ;) . <-- Business strategy lol . Since I can't be much help to them (I live 4 hrs away in another state) , I send my cousin who just graduated from U.K university to help them. Believe me, she just didn't feel like going to work as an engineer and just want to dedicate her mind, body and soul to helping the ummah in the ways of our fitrah as being women. I wish we could do that now, but we have restrictions and obligations we have to obey first. So, pls pray for us that we'll make hijrah towards this in contributing to the Ummah. Err, there I go again changing topic.

I still owe them websites though. That's why I asked for suggestions in the J Oasis. But no one did give me any suggestions.. hmmm...
But it's ok :) . I take this as a challenge to me and InsyaAllah , He will guide me.

Pls make du'a for us (and me esp since I'm the laziest one among them all) .

Wassalam
