| Assalamu Alaikum I go to a small community college in Howard County, Maryland. Recently me and another brother were talking about getting involved with our school's MSA. However, I am unsure whether or not our school actually has a MSA (If it does, then very few people if any know about it). But if it doesn't then what should we do to get one started. I really need something like this around, to keep me involved with muslims and to help me from straying away from Islam. We have a large amount of muslims in our school but we need organization so that we can begin doing things for our community. Any suggestions and help would be appreciated. Thank You. We need to build a strong community and relationship between our ummah to ensure that everybody will remain on the straight path. wa-salam |

| As salmu alaykum Have you gone to the student union to see if there is an MSA or if it is inactive? They should also be able to tell you how to establish an organization on campus if MSA does not already exist. We took the MSA constitution from MIT (it's online) and changed it to meet our universities requirements. Hope this helps insha'Allah As salamu alaykum Marcie |
