[slm] I was wearing my very fly shirwani, and its pretty tight around the sleeves, so I couldn't roll it up when doing wudu, so I had to take it all off to perform wudu. Do other brothers have this problem? ??? |

[slm] Bro Arshad perhaps you train so hard that you've got [glow=red,2,300]muscular arms[/glow] thats why its so tight. Yeah I did have that problem when I got married, it was pretty tight so I had to take it off. Nowadays its the kurtah so its not too bad. How was Eid for you ?? For moi it was snowing, cold and I got so bored thatI was gonna install Linux on my box and I thought nah man not on Eid day ! |

[slm], fly shirwani eh? yeah perhaps you should ease off the training or modify the shirwani for next time around...needle, thread and same fabric ;) unfortunately the fashion selection ain't as sophisticated down-under so I can't say I had the same prob.... i was just wearing the ol' shalwar kameez. One thing i did notice tho, was that there were very few bros wearing the traditional clothing...mostly wearing western shirt and pants...is it the same in UK and US? wasalaam, Ahmed |

I like to build up my arms when I work out and these desi clothes just make tight sleeves, so it can be uncomfortable. |

[slm] Arshad, you have to take off the sherwani. That's the only way, really. Kinda like what you have to do with a suit. It's too hard to roll up the sleeves of a coat and then the shirt underneath. BTW, you're supposed to wear a kurta underneath the sherwani. So when you do take it off, you're still well-dressed :) Wassalamu alaikum wa rahmatullah |

assalam alikum I had a row with my outfitter , but he was adamant saying sherwanis are meant to be that way so I usually do wudu before donning one :) |
