| slm :) May Allah (swt) Bless the Madina Crew and all the participants that make this place such a kewl place. Ameen. I was just wondering, what's happened to all the previous posts and personal IM messages. Is it possible to still have access to them some how? There was a lot of rich information/knowledge/nasihah on the previous styled board, it would be a shame not to being able to access it. wlm :) |

| slm :) Jazakillah Khair Explorer. I've also noticed that its not possible to post articles longer than two pages. This may particularly be problematic in the Taqwa Masjid where articles occasionally tend to be quite long. wlm :) |

Entire books should not be posted on a messageboard. It kind of defeats its purpose I think. If the article is really good, and just a little over 2 pages, I think it can be posted in pieces though. Part I, Part II, etc. The only person having real problems with this that I can think of is our dearest and beloved ... [size=4]Abu Khaled! [/size] ;D Insha Allah he'll manage though. | Assalamu'alaikum :) I'm wondering if anyone else has got the same login problem as me. When I clicked I agree at the constitition page, I received some error message.. or smt about 0-9. When I tried to login again, using my old password (just trying my luck) I couldn't get in. Requested for my password and its a lengthy unfamiliar one. Anyways, I managed to login, changed my password. And just now, when I log in again, the same problem occured. I noticed that my password is the same old lengthy unfamiliar password, not the one that I changed. So, I'm not sure whether there are some bugs going around. Maybe someone can help check it out? | salaam, ok, what you are saying is that your profile isn't being updated when you are making changes? Did you press the change profile button after you made changes, because that will save the settings. Explorer has the same problem, try it and let us know what happened. |

| [slm] Sis Barr, I got the same problems. My changes (password, profile etc) aren't being saved after clicking change profile. Some sort of nasty bug going around in the new software and it sure doesn't like me! |

| Salaams Just looked at the members list and I came across the column called 'position', how come only the Mafiah Sistaz of Albany have that information populated ??? Did they twist your arm Jannah or did they threaten your pets i.e. the cows ? Salaams Hanif |

| Asalaam alaikum, With the people having a problem with updating their profiles, make sure you have javascript enabled, and cookies enabled. See if that makes any difference? I am using IE5 and it works fine, and jannah mentioned she tried it with netscape 6. BroHanif, hehehehe ;) |

| [slm] Interesting that I was just recently listening to a tape by Hamza Yusuf that I'm sure *some* of the Mafia sisters have heard, ahem. It's called Islam, Iman and Ihsan. Hamza Yusuf was talking about how when a person really does possess a quality, he never uses that quality as his label. So, for instance, the Qur'an talks about how the mufsidoon (those spreading corruption on Earth) call themselves muslihoon (those spreading peace on Earth). And then it says that they indeed are the mufsidoon! You see, someone who is really working for peace on this Earth does not need to scream out to people and say, "I'm a peacekeeper, I'm a peacekeeper." He just acts, and doesn't waste his time talking about what he is doing or what he is. And then there are others who simply put a label on themselves, but the label doesn't really mean much, because that's all it is ... a label. And thus ... the "Albany Mafia Sistaz"!!!
