Now the thing is, attempting poetry in English is bad enough and we won't even MENTION Urdu :-/ . Can anyone help me out here please...is there a site out there with Arabic poetry and English transliteration and translation...PLEASE ;D Any help / assistance / recommendations would be highly appreciated. :'( Jazak Allah [slm] [center] :-[ [/center] |

| [slm] Maybe Sr. Mohja can help here. She posted some nice Arabic poetry on the old board by Imam Shaafi'ee (rahimahullah). But the web site where she got it from is no longer accessible. Maybe she knows some more (?) |

| [slm] I'm sorry Sr. Bismillah..i've looked but haven't found any arabic poetry sites that have the arabic version as well as the transliteration and translation. I'm really :( that the almubarak.net is out of service...there were some really good arabic poems on it! |

| [slm] [sub][color=green][i]bsm[/sub][/color][/i] Jazak Allah for trying :-) I tried looking for stuff myself too, and all i could come up with were Paletinian poets, but unfortunatley nothing that she would be in a position to work with :) So we finally settled on doing a dialogue instead, straight-foward, simple and DO-ABLE :D (especially as this was eleventh hour stuff!) Your efforts are appreciated :-) |
