| [slm] brothers and sisters! I am new to this board so I guess I should introduce myself. :) Well, I am a teacher in an Islamic school, I'm married, and I am currently pursuing a master's in education. I was born and raised in the US and unfortunately haven't done as much traveling as I'd like to- Insha'Allah someday! I have followed this board occasionally and Masha'Allah, it seems like the place to be for people who want some real dialogue on the web w/their brothers & sisters in Islam. I hope to gain some valuable insight from all those who participate in this board-with what time I have (soubhanAllah)-and I hope to become a better person as a result of being here. |

You really gain a lot of perspective when you interact with people from different cultures/backgrounds. This is board is a good example of that, alhamdulillah.
