| Assalaamu'alaikum My name is Jenna (No Duh! ::) ) I am married to Othman the other madina addict. We have been married Alhumdulilah for over 5 years. We have a baby boy who is 2 y/o and is very naghuty yet so sweet. He is known as Muffin Boy, aka. bucket mouth, hurricane ooooo the list goes on. I live in cali and have all my life. I am sooo ready for a change especially a better Islaamic Community. Well I must sign off now, my living room was hit by Monsieur Hurricane, it looks like a magnatude of 5.2. :-* :-* :-/ :-/ I am a Muslimah, Mommy, HouseWife, and I LOVE to bake!!! :-* I have been around for a few years (when I was pregnant) and did acumilate 250 post, but saly after reregistering I am back to 14 what a blow! I think this was in the "Most Embarrassing Moments" thread at the old board? So... what raced in your mind, when Jenna did that, Othman? And if this isn't you.. I apologise. |

Did you think "oh man I'm going to be called to lift spiders out of the bathtub for the rest of my life..". [slm] Well, since y'all (including Jenna) wanna know, I might as well tell you: Since I can see that your memory has started fo fail you, hon, let me recall the situation, exactly as it happened: We are there sitting at the table, with Jenna's mother right next to her, and I asked Jenna: "So tell me aboutyourself. What do you like? What don't you like?" Jenna's response was: "I Hate Bugs!" :o Her face immediately became red as tomato >:( :D , and she sank back on her chair until she looked like she wanted the earth to swallow her. :D I sat there looking at her like ???, but then I immediately said, "OK! Guess we better keep 'em away from you, huh!" Meanwhile I was thinking: "WHAT A WOMAN! YESSSSSSS!" ;) And that's the truth, so help me! And the rest is history. Since we got married, she has called me just about every single time she notices a bug to go get rid of it (whenever I am home). I pretend to mind ::), and start grumbling and mumbling as I walk away >:( but the truth is, I love it. It's become part of her charm, as the wonderful strong yet feminine woman she is. ;) Just don't overdo it, hon, even if I do like it. ;) Othman |

| [slm] just wondering, Brother Othman, do you get to kill the bugs or do you have to release them to the wilds? My husband isn't allowed to injure or kill the bugs, but he has to catch them and place them gently outside. (Where they probably find their way in again just as quick... reminds me of the garden gnomes in Harry Potter) wasalaam eleanor :-* |
