assalamu alaikum I am [color=Green]zomorrud[/color]; a born-again madina member who suspects that revealing her previous log name on the old board defeats the purpose of changing it.   *grin* But I will give out why I chose zomorrud - it is a green gem stone (emerald) that happens to be my birth stone.  Other than that,  my lips are sealed.  I guess if you follow what I write closely, you'll be able to figure out who I am. For now, I've decided to stay mysteriously low profile.   wassalam

[slm] I changed mine because ABD was outdated. It's an old nickname that my middle school friends used to call me. ABD are my initials and in Turkish the USA is called ABD, so they called me ABD. Aabidah is an awesome name Masha'Allah. It means 'worshipper'. Alhamdulillah i'm a worshipper of Allah-u Subhana Wata'ala. [wlm] Aabidah

[slm] SisterHania, in Turkish USA is called ABD. ABD is basically the Turkish translation of USA United States of America Amerika Birlesik Devletleri  (Birlesik = United, Devletleri = Sates) So, that's the whole story behind it :) [wlm] Aabidah aka Betul
