| Salaams, Dear brothers and sistaz. As we all know there are riots going on in India right now. I have come to know that four brothers from nearby where I live, have sadly been caught up in the trouble, one brother has been killed, one is in serious condition and the other two brothers are still missing. It really hurts me because I knew these brothers since we met at at the local sports centre. When I saw the bros face on the news my eyes became watery.... Please make dua for sabr for their families and loved ones and may we have peace and stability in India and other toublespots elsewhere. Salaams Hanif |

| [slm] SubhanAllah it's horrible what is going on. May Allah (SWT) give their families the sabr and strength that they need to get through this. Ameen. Insha'Allah the other two brothers will be found and they return safely, and the other brother's condition gets better. Insha'Allah let's remember to pray for them. The riots are religious clashes between the Hindus and the Muslims and here is an article that was put up today on [url]www.timesunion.com[/url] AHMADABAD, India -- Armed attackers forced villagers to huddle together, then set fire to their homes today, killing at least 30 people in one of several attacks during widespread religious clashes between Hindus and Muslims in Gujarat state, authorities said. The attack took place in Pandarvada village, 30 miles from Godhra, the town where a Muslim fire attack on a train that killed 58 people, mostly Hindus, set off the religious strife on Wednesday. The religion of the attackers and victims was not immediately known. Indian officials routinely withhold such information. The village killings brought the death toll to 295 in the worst religious clashes in India in a decade. The attackers came from the neighboring Kheda district to the village, where approximately 50 families live, said Jayanti Ravi, the district administrator. ``We know of 30 deaths so far, it could be higher than that,'' she said. | [slm] Today my father heard about his old college roommate from Aligarh Muslim Univ. He had become a leading physician in his town and was welcoming home his son and daughter for Eid. Some robbers entered his home, killed him, his two adult children and left his wife for dead. We do not think she has survived. Inna lillah wa inna ilaihi rajeeon. |

| [color=Blue][/color]As Salaamu Alaikum Wr Wb Ameen to the above Duas. My family also lives in Gujrat and right now the conditions are bad and getting worse. They've put curfews in neighboring Muslim communities so that if a mob does come to a target (such as the county "padly" in which some of my family is located) no other Muslims can go out to help them against the coming Hindu groups who burn buildings, homes, and human beings alike without hesitance :( May Allah swt bring comfort and releif for our brothers and sisters everywhere who are suffering hardships.
