| Greetings all! I used some of my newly freed "spare time" this week ;) to read some of the other Islamic and religion boards on the web. I was quite upset and dismayed at the amount of backbiting, name calling, insulting, callousness, and general rudeness found at many of these sites, both within and across religions. This was a rather rude awakening for me as, previous to this week, this board was the only religion oriented message board/discussion mailing list that I had participated in, and I had presumed that most boards would be similar. Was I ever mistaken! So, as my ancestors would have said, "Hats off!" to this board! May we be able to keep or even surpass the same high standards we have set for ourselves. Not only does this make things nicer for us, but for all who may wander by, Muslim or non-Muslim, it presents a wonderful witness for Islam. Peace, Dawn |

| Dawn, you're realizing what I realized when I first came to the board. Having seen other Islamic messageboards out there, this place was clearly different. Alhamdulillah. Posts like these just bring a smile to your face don't they? :) |

| I am also new to the message boards here at jannah.org. I, too find the boards a delight to read and I enjoy the lack of bickering and rudeness that I have seen on other message boards. However, could someone tell me what happened to all the previous posts and the numerous threads and is there anyway to get to them if they are archives? Thank you and salam to all. |

| [slm] I put the answer to that question in the FAQ or "HELP" file that comes up when you click on the help link. basicially everything is still there, you can just use the old website address and access all that stuff! the address is in the help. take care! |
