| [slm] I asked this question in another area of this message board a few weeks ago in response to an article that was posted. So if you have seen this question before...your not crazy. ;) I was wondering if anybody knows the Islamic ruling on getting plastic surgery. Don't worry, I am not getting any surgery. I was just wondering. Besides, when you got a smile like this ;D, why would you need plastic surgery. :) [wlm] |

| [slm] lol siddeeq:) plastic surgery is haram if you just want to get a nose job or reduce that, enlarge this, blah blah blah, Allah(SWT) did not create you that way, so how are you going to go agasint what he has ordained for you physically speaking. however, plastic surgery is hala for medial reasons. for example, if you are severly burned etc, then alhudulilah it is halal to recieve any type of help possible. my mother works in a plastic surgery place for ppl who got burned. she would have never worked there if plastic surgery altogether was haram. wasalam nouha:) |
