asalaamu alaikum,

Guys, I seriously need your help.

My friend's brother-in-law has a brain tumour and two weeks ago he was given a week to live.  Masha'Allah he's been okay since, but people are really scared for him and doctors have given up for him.

He's just on natural medicine now waiting to see what happens.  Allhumdulilah he's strong and composed though, and has a wife and young daughter (3 yrs old).

MADINA, HELP ME OUT YO!

Please make dua for Brother Javed of Scarborough, Canada Insha'Allah.

Does anyone know any herbal or Islamic sunnah remedies for brain tumours?

ANYTHING that can help?  What can be done for him at this time? Writin gduas with saffron and soaking them in water? Zam Zam water? anything?

Special duas?

Please advise, and soon Insha'Allah.

aslamau alaikum. abdullah,.

Assalamu alaikum
May Allah make things easy on your friend and his family.  Ameen.  I don't know if there's anything that can be done for a brain tumor, just make lots of du'a.  Try Zamzam and you should know that even though that doctor said there's only one more week, only Allah determines how long a person has to live.  Try reading the Qur'an for him and making the du'as that the Prophet  [saw] gave us for asking Allah to cure illnesses.  Don't go writing anything in saffron cause the Prophet  [saw] never did it!

ask everyone in the masjid to say surah fatiha together for the brother and make dua for him after a prayer one day. dua can be very powerful.  the tradition is to read surah ya sin from the quran because it talks alot about death and the akhirah.

There is something called "Ruqya"....it's healing through duah and Qur'an. You read Suratul Falaq, Suratul Nas, Suratul Ikhlas (3 times each) , Al Fatiha, the first five ayas of Baqara, Aya 255-257 of Baqarah, Aya 284-286 Baqarah.

There is a duah that goes with it too...I don't have the book with me now, but I'll post later. Ask your local imam about it, he might be able to perform it on him. It can be read to the person over the phone too, and even away from him....We'll keep him in our duahs Inshaallah.

asalaamu alaikum wr wb akhi,

I hope you and  :-) Sadiya are well.  InshaAllah we will continue to make dua for brother Javed and his family...times like this is hard for all involved, but something that we musn't forget is "to Allah we belong and to Him is our return".. although we must fight for life so we can continue to do good in this world, at some time or another we'll move to the next.

Please keep us informed of his condition.

take care bro, wasalaam,
Ahmed

asalaamu alaikum,

Jazak Allahq Khairun for all the replies, concerns and duas.

The brother, Javed, went back to Allah SWT last night, Sunday, and has left this duniya after going on for almost two weeks after doctors said he couldn't.  His janaza was today.

I ask that all my brothers and sisters make dua for Allah SWT to accept him into jannah-al-firdaus Insha'Allah and for his family to be strong Insha'Allah.  Inna Lillahi wa inna illaihi Rajeeoon. asalamu alaikum. abdullah,.
