| As salaamu alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakaatuhu, I'm extremely happy to be joining Madinat-al-Muslimeen. ;D I can see that there is a lot of benefit in this community, alhamdulillah. I hope to learn a lot from you all, insha'Allah. Ok, so here's my intro: I am currently studying law in New York City and my hometown is Albany. So I guess I really belong to both cities. :) Other things I have done in the past include: teaching high school Physics and Chemistry (go ahead, you can say ewww, gross... that's what most people say when they hear those two subjects!), teaching at the Islamic Center, coaching tennis and basketball, and working as an Engineer in the telecom industry. And yes, I know I'm crazy for going to law school after all those things! But, alhamdulillah, it has been a blessing to have different and wonderful experiences. :) Wasalaam, Noera |

| wlm, thanx for the advice bro... i'd like to practice more but it's different when youre in an arabic environment and everywhere you go you have to speak arabic.. even buying groceries etc... and believe me... 3amiya is wayyy too crazy for anyone to learn! we do pick it up in order to speak to ppl sometimes but alhamdulllah they're all pro fus-ha at the university!! ;) |
