First install win98 and then install winXP and things should be taken care of insha'Allah.

Make sure you have all your required files backed up, you have bootable disk like MS-Dos 6.2.

Install Win 98, then XP

You can install Win 98 on your primary partition and if you create a secondary partition then you can install Win XP after that.

If you feel a bit more confident you can install Win 98 and then install a software programme called Partition Magic which supposedly can ease your dual installations. And then install Win XP.

However, a word of caution if you have two systems you'll need to have two virus checkers and both will need access to a local firewall if you are going to connect to the internet.

Actually he doesn't even need to partition the drive, WIN XP support multiple OSes, so thats why i said install win 98 first and then win xp, (make sure you install XP in a different directory) .
