Assalaamu 'alaikum wa rahmatullah

Ok, I originally wanted to pose this question since I have to get back to someone.  Here's a preliminary list, anything you might add or delete?   Otherwise, there are many websites (which you can also post).  But BOOKS.  Need more BOOK recommendations for non-Muslims who "just want to learn" (something they can find in their local bookstore or online).

Jazaak Allahu khairun, may God reward you with good.

[glow=red,2,300]BOOKS[/glow]
The Quran - Translation by Yusuf 'Ali (I'd recommend other translations for Muslims, but this seems the easiest to read)
The Essential Koran - Thomas Cleary
The Complete Idiot's Guide to Understanding Islam - Yahya Emerick (no offense to anyone by the title, I thought it was a great book)
Towards Understanding Islam - Maududi
What Everyone Should Know About Islam - Suzanne Haneef
Silent No More - Paul Findley
The Road to Mecca - Muhammad Asad
Gender Equity in Islam - Jamal Badawi
Daughers of Another Path - Carol Anway
Autiobiography of Malcolm X - Alex Haley
Fiction: If I should Speak - Umm Zakiyya

Great thread!! :)

The Complete Forty Hadith: Imam an Nawawi

A Brief Illustrated Guide to Islam: I.A. Ibrahim    ---> this is especially good because it starts with scientific proof of Islam, then goes onto Benefits of Islam and finally comes the explanation of the five pillars and all about Muhammad [saw]

Advice on Establishing an Islamic Home: Aboo 'Ubaidah 'Amr bin Basheer
---->  Also good for ALL Muslims, not just reverts/those interested in Islam

Muhammad, his life based on the earliest sources: Martin Lings

These are the only  books I have which aren't on your list, and I liked them all!! :)
