| [slm] Does any body know of any good islamic/arabic schools or institutes or unversities. I want to first learn arabic then move on to other areas of Islamic study. It doesn't matter whether they are in the USA or over seas. I am looking for schools where I came stay on campus or near the school in some form of housing. I would like to start attending a school by this coming fall. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you. :) |

| [wlm] Anything in Makkah or Madina is extremely competitive. You have to really know people to get in. Go to Syria.. it's really easy and you can learn Arabic in a 1 year time span....2 years to master it..inshaAllah |

| [slm] bsm I have heard that the Al Azhaar Institute / College in Egypt are excellent for Islamic / Arabic studies. They have opened up a school (starting at Pre-primary level and through to matric) here in Durban and their standard of education is highly regarded in the country. I do not have any links that may be of assistance, all i have is the name Al Azhaar. Insha Allah it will be of some help :) [slm] |
