Time: 7:00 P.M.

Location: Fordham Law School, McMahon Hall Lounge Room 109.

Non-Fordham Students need valid ID. The Lounge is in the Undergrad.
Enter through 113 W. 60th Street and the guards can direct you or enter
through McMahon Hall on 155 W. 60th Street and the Lounge is right inside.

Topics to be discussed include the Spatus of Women in Islam, Islam and
Human Rights, Islam and the Media, Myths and Realities following 9/11, Muslims in America, Religious Tolerance, Racial Justice, Jihad, Peace, Terrorism, Suicide Bombing, and much more.

This lecture is a part of a series on Religion and Human Rights:
Perspectives on the WTC Tragedy.
This introductory event will provide answers to questions concerning Islam
before delving into more specific issues.  Please look out for further lectures on topics such as Detention, the USA Patriot Act, and the effects of anti-terrorism legislation on Arabs, Muslims and South Asians; Islam and the legal profession; Islamic Law and Civil Liberties.
