oh Asalamu Alykum, You reminded me of my highschool days!!! I worked in DQ for a summer, it was AWESOME. I became an expert in making PERFECT ice-cream cones, banana splits and smoothies. Ok hmm so the official DQ recipe for making perfect smoothies, My fav is banana, strawberry :)sooo.. here goes 1/4 banana 1 scoop of canned strawberry ummm we had this crushed icy thing, stuff that you put in slushies.. I guess you can substitue that with ice.. I love ice so i put tons of it, however, you don't wanna put toooo much, cause than it looses flavor. 2 scoops of Vanilla ice-cream a couple table spoons of milk....depending on what consistency you prefer.. and you can add or subsitute the fruits, if you like chocolate add some chocolate syrup.. hope this helps~~ JazakumAllahu Khair |

[slm] Do u ever find that once u click on one link, u end up finding so many other links that u never heard of.. Anyway..i somehow got onto a website called www.eat-halal.com and to cut a short story even shorter i found this recipe which reminded me of BroHanif's search from the most scrumptious smoothy.. ;D..I'll leave the taste testing to u :D Strawberry Smoothie Ingredients: 1/4 cup orange juice 1/2 cup plain yogurt 1/2 cup sliced strawberries Honey to taste Directions: Place all the ingredients in a blender. Blend on high speed until smooth. And then enjoy. Banana Smoothie Ingredients: 1 ripe banana ˝ cup chopped fresh fruit or drained canned fruit ˝ cup fruit juice 1 cup flavored yogurt dash of nutmeg Directions: Cut banana into chunks. If fruit is large also cut into chunks. Strain canned fruit if using. Measure fruit, yogurt and juice and place in blender. Blend for 5 seconds. Turn off blender and check mixture. If still chunky blend for additional 5 seconds. Divide smoothies into 2 glasses and top with dash of nutmeg. Enjoy! [wlm] |
