| AMJ ANNOUNCES AMERICAN MUSLIM SOLIDARITY WITH PALESTINE DELEGATION PRAY IN AL-AQSA REBUILD PALESTINIAN HOMES REPLANT OLIVE AND FRUIT TREES SEE OCCUPATION WITH YOUR OWN EYES AND TELL THE STORY WHEN: June 14th - 24th, 2002 COST: $1,000 (includes airfare, food, lodging and in-country transportation) American Muslims for Jerusalem is pleased to announce the first American Muslim solidarity delegation to Occupied Palestine. This summer, 50 American Muslim university students and young professionals will spend 10 days in Occupied Palestine. The trip will include home stays with Palestinian families, days in refugee camps in the West Bank, Gaza Strip and Occupied Jerusalem, as well as time in 1948 Palestine. We will also put you to work! The delegation will show solidarity with Palestinians by helping to rebuild Palestinian homes that have been demolished, to replant olive and fruit trees that have been uprooted and by distributing aid to needy Palestinian families. Thorough orientation and training will be provided prior to departure. Training will also be provided for delegates to return and tell their stories to the media, on campuses, in community centers and to members of Congress. See with your own eyes and tell Americans what life under Israeli military occupation is like for 3 million Palestinians. Do your part to help free Palestine! Delegation leaders have extensive experience working and traveling in Palestine. All travel and program activities will be coordinated closely with Palestinian activists and organizations to maximize security at all times.
