Okay, our muslim Comunity here is very lazt. Meaning we don't have activities for the women, men and children at ALL. I wanted to start some activities for the teenage girls and women here, but I'm not sure exactly what?? Any detailed ideas would be much appreciated inshallah...  ??? ??? ???

You culd invite friends and other muzlimz 2 cum and u know talk about what they could do....u cud also try to invite people to cuming to your house or the mosque to listen to some sppeeches....if u don't really have that much sociality in your personality then talk to the main head of the muzlim community...if u need anymore than just give me a post

If you want to do regular activities i.e. weekly, you should have a meeting with the women & teenage girls and ask them what they want. You've also got to think about funding e.g. if you needed to hire out a hall every week you could consider charging a small entry fee to cover costs. Alternatively you could request some funding from your local mosque or even your local council.

Activities - the teenagers usually want to play sports e.g. basketball, netball etc. They are also interested in self defence so this could be suggested. A lot of older women are also interested in keep fit because it gets boring doing exercise at home in front of the video! A keep fit class could therefore be suggested.

Most people, especially teenagers, want to know more about Islam. You could therefore have a session where you discuss issues that affect the youth concerning Islam. Its a good idea to get them involved rather than telling them what to do! You could encourage them participate as this would also increase their confidence as young Muslimahs.

Hope some of these suggestions help Insha'Allah and I wish you every success with your project.
