| [slm] Alright everyone... who by any chance here lives in Perth or Australia. I'm going there for a vacation early April 1. How's the weather like ? Cool?Cold?Extremely cold that you don't wanna leave the house? 2. What are the cool must visit places. 3. I'm going to Albany, Perth in Australia..not in N.Y. I just found out that they have Albany in Australia!!!! 4. I'd like to visit the Mosque there, and maybe their Islamic Centre. Do they have one? Make du'a for my mom and I to be safe travelling there. Our first time out of the country. This should be a practise for me handling my mom and her wheelchair travelling long distance. This should be a practise for us before , InsyaAllah, we go to Mekah. Wassalam. P.S: Next yr I just might go to L.A. :-* |

| assalamu alaikum. one of my closest friends is from perth. it is very [i]noice[/i] there (me tries to immitate her aussie accent ::) ) very mild weather conditions. but i guess at this time of the year it is autumn down there. i dunno if they have an islamic centre there. highly doubt it as a matter of fact. i think i recall her mentioning how non diverse perth is. most muslims are in sidney i think. never mind, i am a moron, i just did a google search and found this Australian Islamic Social Association of Perth 977 Albany Highway, East Victoria Park, WA 6101 Perth Islamic Centre 7 Malvern Road, Rivervale, WA 6103 take care wassalam |

| Eeeepppp Sis, I mite be in Perth in mid May :) If that doesnt happen then I will be in Indonesia instead :-) Was sposed to go to LA (booked car and all) but term papers are just killin me... |

| [slm] Actually sister Zomorrud :) , there is a pretty diverse muslim community in Perth. | [slm] Sis Wafi, Going to Perth too? Awww..man, we could've gone together. I'm going this Friday. I booked the ticket from the Matta Air Fare offers. 2 weeks after I booked with them, another offer from MAS was out, much cheaper than the one at Matta. It only cost abt RM1500 (2 adults) for a trip to L.A and 75% off the ticket for children. But now I am wondering, why are the tickets suddenly so cheap!!!!!!!!!! Thanks all for the infos. I think I'll try to visit the Islamic Centre there. |
