| as'salaamualikum ;D my youngest nephew once..when he was like 2..had to go to the bathroom..and after he was done..he came to me to put his shorts on..and i accidently made him put both legs in 1 shorts leg..so he was walkin around, saying, "whoa..whoa..wwwwhoooaaa.." he was acting like he was wobbling :D u had to be there ::) then..my other nephew @ the age of 4 was askin me if i had any change in my bag..i said yes, and he said he really needed it..and he "must" have it..:) i was like, "what's it for..?" he goes: "i wanna buy a house.." ;D it was so sweet, mashAllah :) |

| When my sons were real little we lived in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida I was taking them to the Miami Seaquarium to see the dolphins and such When one asked where are we going I said to Miami (My Ami) He looked at me funny and asked??? Where does your Ami live??? I had to explain Miami was a town not a person like my aunt, my dad or my sister... Everytime I tried to explain it was a place not a person he would say :D OK but where does your Ami live ??? ::) |

| ok once my sister, she was 7, she was holding a lonng tube, mom told her to put it in the basement, then she held it up and it made a whole in the ceiling, my mother got sooo angry and held a stick to spank her, then my 4 year old sister came running and put her hands infront of my sister who made a whole in the wall, then she said, "mama don't hit her, now allah could see us better!!" it was sooo cute, my mother started laughing and left my sister with the whole in the ceiling. IT WAS SSSSSOOOOO CUTE AND FUNNY. |

| [slm] awwwwwwww u guys that was soooo cute! CUTE story number one: me and my aunt were sleeping over this sisters house with two children, since her husband wasnt at home she didnt wanna be alone, so anyway we put the girls to lay down to sleep adn keep their eyes shut so itll be easier for them to sleep, and then all of a sudden one of the girls came to us and said my sister isnt sleeping, lol how would she know if she didnt open her eyes! hahahha just one of them time when u had to be there...... :-* others to come...... [wlm] nouha:) |

| [slm] Off the top of my head I have three: 1) my cousin, Nadine : she was about 3 or 4 and came to visit. So I gave her a biscuit and not hearing a "thank you" I said "So what do you say?" and she said "Can I have another one?" :-/ 2) same cousin..my aunt was combing her hair and said "Oh Nadine, you've something sticky in your hair". Nadine said "Is it a roll of sellotape?" ;D 3) my brother aged 5 - was climbing a tree and fell out of it, but the straps on his dungarees caught on a branch and he was left hanging there... till his friend came to call in for him and alerted my mother.. she came out and picked him out of the tree and took him home. Later that evening she was putting him to bed when she asked him "What would you have done if your friend hadn't found you?" He replied "Well I suppose I'd still be hanging there in my pyjamas.." ;D wasalaam eleanor :-* |

| [slm] 1 My son looked at me combing my hair at the mirror and asked me why I kept long hair. I said cos I like it that way and I think I look nicer with long hair. He kept quiet for a bit and said he wanna keep long hair too. He said he wants to look nicer and he thinks he will like having long hair. I turned to him and said he is not allowed to keep long hair and explained to him the reasons and finally I said, plus u wouldnt really like it. He made a face at me and ask " Are u Wafi ?" Then he skipped away humming. 2 My children was arguing abt a toy they both wanna play and there was pulling and pushing. I separated them and turned to my daughter who started it. I asked her what she should have done in this circumstance instead of pulling the toy from her brother. She sucked her thumb for a bit and said "I should have called Abah (her father) cos he is bigger and can pull harder". Sighhhh |

| [slm] Ok, these are from my son (aged 4 and half) 1. One day my son is at my parents house, he is watching Tom and Jerry on the television. My dad is also in the room, watching it with him. My brother walks in and changes the channel, and to this my son says very politely, "Excuse me Mama ji, but Nana ji was watching that, don't you know that Tom and Jerry is nana's favourite cartoon!" 2. Last year, I had to go and see our bank manager about getting a mortgage. Since I couldn't get hold of anyone to mind my son, I had to take him with me. On the way I explained to him that he had to sit quietly whilst I talked to the bank manager, and if he was good the man would give us some money to buy a house with a big garden. So anyway we get to the end of the meeting and my son refuses to leave until the bank manager gives him some money 'to buy the house with the big garden' . The bank manager ended up pretending to write a cheque on a pay-in slip and gave it to my son, only then did my son get up to leave! 3. One day my brother is on the phone talking to one of his friends. My son says that he wants to talk to him too, so to keep him quiet my brother gives him the phone. His friend and my son exchange salaams and then my brother's friend must have asked 'so what are you doing Hasan?', to which my son replies 'I'm talking to you" 4. My parents were going to Pakistan last month and my dad kept saying to my son that he'll take him along in the suitcase with him. On the day that they were leaving, they were doing last minute packing in the dining room, (like you do), anyway because they'd changed the suitcase they were taking, they was an empty one in the room, so my son sits in it and says to my dad 'is this the suitcase you're taking me to Pakistan in?' 5. His latest is really cute. We've been asking him whether he would like a younger brother or sister. His reponse is "Mummy you know it's not up to us to decide, it's upto Allah, I'll be happy with whatever he gives us" There are plenty more, (he's got a right mouth on him!), but that's all I can think of for now.... :-) |

| [slm] aww..hehe, mashaAllah :) I remember once aaaggeess ago we went to someone's house. We were goin home and my dad's friend asked my lil brother in his language "where are you going, Raihan?" My lil bro, not knowing how to speak the language said "I'm julling home". LOL. I know most of you won't get it, well, lemme explain.. I think its Punjabi, ain't sure, but "jull" means "go". Raihan tried to speak in the same language, so he said "I'm julling home". :D hehe, theres plenty more, just can't remember.. ;D Peace |

| : :D :D :D [slm]Mashallah all ur comments are so b-u-tiful... Well errm let me think of a story ??? ??? ??? My father cannot work and he is unemployed due to his artiritus, so he spends a lot of time at home reading newspapers and liseining to music as he had nothing else much to do ::) ::) Well one day me and my mother and my lil sis went 2 pakistan on holiday to visit our Grandparents. WHilst we were there a relation of our Grandmother came to our house and sat and talked to us 4 a little while. Then he posed the question to my lil sista 'what does your father do' ;D ;D ;D ;) ;) :D :) :) she responds by saying something along the liines of 'he listens to music and read newspapers!' :P Ok sisters u many not have found that funny, but as the prophet said the best of jokes arethose that are about real life issues (e.g. not made up1s) |

| Assalamu'alaikum :-) OK.. this happened last week... we were at a room in the mosque, waiting for the bride to come... have her dressed and put on the make-up... A couple of kids were playing at a corner.. suddenly, one of them cried and screamed.. and said something gibberish and "Owwwiiieeeeee!!! :'( Ooowwwiiieee!! :'(" So we were like.. wot's going on? Anywho... one of the sisters said that when he is in pain, he doesn't know how to say it... so he said... Ow (as in Ouch, or Ow.. when one feels pain) weeee, Owweeee... cute! :-* wassalam! :-) |

| [slm] he he :) My neice has a sweet tooth , shez only 2 1/2 but she refuses to eat real meals..So my sister and i were at my older sisters house. I was sitting and reading and suddenly my neice comes and holds my hand and takes me to the kitchen and opens the pantry door. And said " I think Muna Khala wants candy".. It was sooo cute cause she had enough candy for that day but she wanted more and she made up this whole thing of my sister wanting candy.. I was impressed... :) |

| Salams i was talkin to my nephew who was about 4 or 5 at the time and telling him that his name is ihsan and the new baby is called aman and other names that rhyme in the family are faizan, usman, gulman, and he looked thoughtful for a moment then said, 'khala, theres batman too!' hee hee wasalams |

| I have two boys. My youngest son was 3 when I sent him to nursery school. After a few months when he got the hang of being in school, he came home one day and told me to sit down because he wants to tell me a story. At nursery school, they are taught the "once upon a time" stories. So, my son makes sure he has my undivided attention and starts: "one a upon a time".... I burst into laughter not because he pronouced "once as one" but at they way he said. So serious and earnest! The same son was 4 when some visitors came to visit us with a small girl. They were downstairs with his grandmother and brother. The visitor with the little girls told my younger son to go get money from his mother so that he can be given the little girl as a bride. I was upstairs in one of the rooms reading a book when my elder son walked into the room and got on the opposite bed. A few minutes later, his brother walks in and tells me: Mum, I want all the money in the suitcase under this bed (the bed his brother was on). I said: how do you know there is money in the suitcase? He said: because that is where money is kept. Then I asked: what do you need the money for? Then he answered: there is this girl down stairs that I want to marry and I have to pay her mother money to do so. I looked at his brother who was 7 and told him to go down stairs and check if this girls was worth all the money in the suitcase. His older brother shook his head and then said no. I was intrigued and asked why he thought so. My elder son said; she has burns on one side of her face. I said: but how do you know this since you have been here with me. He said: I was downstairs when they told my little brother to come and get the money from you. Over the years, there have been plenty from this two guys of mine. |

| My son who is 3 years old was going to the bookstore with his Daddy and the next morning when he woke up he told me that he wanted to go to the bookstore with Daddy, and I told him that he went but the thing is that he feel asleep in the car before they got to the bookstore and he spelt all the way though the store. So he didn't remember going. I guess you had to be there. It was really cute. Ann Also when my husband bought my son to see me at the hostipal after I had my daugther. My son came in and saw his baby sister and he said she was cute, but mom you forgot to get her some teeth. It was really funny. Ann :-X |
