Malcolm X: The Struggle for Truth and Justice
-
- Malcolm spent 12 years in the Nation of Islam as the one of its most eloquent spokesman
- Malcolm was Siraj's hero. In December of 1966 Siraj decided to join Nation of Islam, at that time there was a lot of animosity towards Malcolm in the nation. He was considered a hypocrite.
- Following the death of Elijah Muhammad in 1975 most followers joined orthodox Islam.
- Someone is putting the masses to sleep.
- Malcolm X was a noisemaker, and that is why he lost his life short of his 40th birthday.
- There are many people who "acts" Muslims and look self-righteous.
- Malcolm practiced the truth as soon as it became clear to him.
- Why did Malcolm go to Hajj without  a beard and return with one? His self hatred seeped away at Makkah, his philosophy changed, and he blossomed.
- Never ask a man why he keeps a beard. All of the prophets including the Rasul had a beard. Ask a man why he shaves his beard.
- In Tunisia a man cant grow a beard without the government's permission.
- Today's major mechanism of putting people to sleep is TV
- Wasting time instead of learning or interacting with family.
- Animal Kingdom on TV, however, is good to watch.
- Every animal has a natural enemy and Allah created a way for the animals to either run away or defend themselves. Some by flying, some by stinking, some by burrowing in the earth, some by running really fast etc.
-  The sheep is a very docile animal that neither runs nor protects itself. That's why Allah put a shepherd for sheep.
- The masses of the world are in need of shepherds.
- Malcolm was a shepherd.
- Freud said its  my fate to agitate the sleep of mankind
- Malcolm went on a journey of hardship when he was young, crime, and ended up for six years in prison.
- He only spent a year of his life as an orthodox Muslim.
- Malcolm had a little bit of Islamic knowledge but when he saw the truth he grabbed it.
- There are a lot of Muslims who hide their faith in America. This happened also during the Prophet (S.A.W) time. An Example of Abdullah bin Salam a Jewish Rabbi, respected pious scholar who was known and cherished amongst his people. When he converted to Islam he asked the Rasul to not tell his people first, but instead go ask about him. The Rasul went to ask his people. What do you think about Abdullah bin Salam? They responded  "He is the best of us". Abdullah stepped forward and proclaimed the Shahada. The people responded "He is the worst of us!".
- Malcolm was a dangerous man, he talked about social issues and when his horizon widened talked about the Oneness of Allah and equality of humanity. He spoke the truth eloquently and was prepared to face the repercussions.
- One of the great lessons of Malcolm's life is Don't worry about how you were born, but worry about how you'll die. You can be born Muslim and die a kaffir, or worse a hypocrite.
- It's not too late to change your life around.
- A book that is a must read is  "The Art of War"  by Sun Tzu.
- The general said two important things: If you know yourself but don't know your enemy you'll win 50% of the time. If you know your enemy and yourself you will win all the time. If you don't know yourself or your enemy you will never win!¨.
- The ultimate battle is to defeat your enemy without a drop of bloodĄ¨.
- Every animal is born with a natural enemy. Who is mankind's natural enemy?
- The Shaytaan!
