| salaam, okkkkk i have to write an article for the msa newsletter. and i've been given a topic on which I have no exact information. heres what i gotta write about : Uniting the Ummah is the topic *2 blurbs about 1 paragraph each on conflicts involving Muslims worldwide (we suggest on on the situation in India and the other is up to you just as long as it's not Palestine again) *1 mini-article (500-700 words) on the Palestinian situation (try to avoid being too political) i don't really read the news or anything. so i dunno what to do..if any of u have good stuff that'd be helpful please post it up here..(i promise i wont commit plagerism..spelling?>!?) wassalm |

| Salams my advice to you would be to hit the net! No offence intended, but its all very well to sit and ask someone for info, but being involved in a msa newsletter myself has opened my eyes. You say you dont watch the news and dont know wots going on, but i guarantee you, search the net even for an hour, and you will be mesmiresed and shocked at the info available to you and the kind of things that ARE really going on! take one article at a time. The Palestine issue is probably gonna be the first thing you'll find tons on. Basically the land was Palestinians until at the end of the second world war, american and britain sold muslims out by deciding that the jews needed a homeland (as they went thru a terrible ordeal thru the holocaust) and so decided to take the palestinan land and jus give it to em, by kicking the palestines out to one side of it. read up on the info and get clued up. they are YOUR brothers and sisters out there!
