| asalaamu alaikum, I recently started wearing hijab but I'm confused as to wether we have to cover our feet. I see many girls who don't but some who *always* do. Does anyone know anything about this, is there a difference of oppinion on this matter? Thanks everyone :) |

| salam sis, i also find this confusing! but far as i know.... u hav to cover EVRYTHING, leaving ur hands and face as exceptions! this includes ur feet! i try to cover mine, but its very hard in da summder! n i hate sandels with closed ends! wa-salam |

| walaikum salaam wrt, there's one madhab where you are allowed to keep your feet uncovered.. hanafi i think? W'Allahu alam. |

[wlm] ps since when did the new board get such funky smilies??? ;) |
