| the teach in was good masha'Allah.. where was the columbia MSA.. i heard there was only one person from columbia.. or we new jersyians are used to packed lecture halls... anyway quite disappointing to see that there were only 20/25 ppl.. and half of them were from jersey. I have heard of the MSAs of NY getting together but they didnt show up. There were more org sponsoring the event on the flyer than actual heads! I think the event was not well advertised.. We never saw any flyers.. But as Br Mauri Salakhan said , "This is a good beginning". Insha'Allah the momentum will grow..!! Br Obeyd is awesome as always...:) btw... he told everyone that Imam Jamil is in a max security cell 23 hours a day and for an hour he is allowed to go into a cage like thing. He is handcuffed even while taking shower... i feel soo bad for him.. :( He is getting our letters.. so keep writing to him..!! May Allah help him.. ameen On the way back he had some awesome things to say about...... which are off the record... ;) aite... ma'salam ahmer btw.. i guess there was an albanyian mafia sis over there...right..? |
