| [slm] Teaching looks like a profession many sisters and brothers are taking up these days. Alhamdulilah it is good to see these increasing numbers - what better role models could children have at their schools!?! I'm also considering giving up IT and doing a Maths PGCE next year, anybody have any experience etc etc they want to share? [wlm] imran ;-) |

| Salaam, teaching, mahs'allah :) My mate had a muslim teacher who taught foreign lang!!! She said it made life soo much easier to have him there (prayer facilities were provided on his request) I think u should go fr it bro tc |

| [slm] I am curently doing a science PGCE and alhamdulilah so far I have thoroughly enjoyed it. Having said that, it is hard work and the course is very intensive. The whole course assessment is based on formative methods and coursework. There are no exams, hence the intensive nature from the onset of the course!!. You do have to be very determined and motivated, but the rewards are endless. The satisfaction that you get when you have taught a really inspirational lesson can't be beaten. ;D, but believe me not all lessons go as planned!! :( I believe that there is no better profession and I wish you all the best in making your decision.
