asslamualakum! has any one head of the expresion (the devil uranates on a person head) well if so is this true or just a sayig. the reason i ask is cos men dont have to wear a hat when reading salah. but if a women takes off her head scalf, even after salah her wudu breaks due to that. can you please correct me or enlighten me cos i always have my scalf on and it upsets my hubby. he says you wear it all the time indoors and out obviously he doesnt object to me wearing it outside. |

Assalamu alaikum No, taking off the scarf does not break wudoo, unless you've wiped over it like with socks. As for the shaytaan urinating; I've only heard a hadeeth where the Prophet S was told of a man who slept through fajr, and he (S) said that the shaytan had urinated in his ear. |

[slm] firstly a scarf is a garment meant to be worn when in prayer or when leaving the confines of the home. The idea being that it should be part of an ensemble to protect a womens body, exposing only her hands up to her wrists, her feet and her face. There is no need , as far as i can understand, to wear a scarf / cover yourself infront of your husband. He is, after-all, the person you should be "showing yourself off to"! :-) Secondly, taking your scarf off after you have completed Salah, etc. does not "break" your wudhu. Wudu is nullified for very specific reasons, which i am not sure if the moderators would allow me to specify here. When the page i am looking for, so intently, finally loads, i will be able to post a link for you, Insha Allah. :-) More information about Hijab |
