| my buddy 'dings' wrote this recently in the midst of many troubles in his life..!! May Allah help him.. ameen but this poetry i think is off the hook cuz this is his first work ever..!!:) I was the master of my world When the cupid came He cast on me a spell And I became enslaved I had a companion A Protector, an Ally I have now forsaken Him What a fool am I My hours in solitude I had spent with my Creator Now for the created Lies my desire? Where has my Lord gone? I have lost my connection Never to be found Whilst drowning in deception I used to posses a true love When the thieves came I was robbed of my treasure With only myself to blame It was a relationship It was everlasting It is now replaced With one that is passing If this is called romance then the cupid shall be my enemy I will launch a crusade A sufficient remedy His blood will be spilled I will be victorious For the time is soon arriving And I shall meet my Lord, the Glorious |
