| [slm] heres the answer jazakallah khair for people who tried to help and to brother helped ... heres the answers to the other 2 questions Q1) What is the supplication said upon hearing thunder? A1) subhanallazi yousabahur-ra’du behandihi wal maliekatu menkhefateehee. Q2) What is the time limit set by the Prophet (saw) to clip or cut the nails? A2) Letting the nails grow long is makrooh, if not haraam, because the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) set a time limit for cutting the nails, and said that they should not be left for more than FORTY DAYS.(Narrated by Muslim in al-Tahaarah, 258). |

| [slm] 40 days?! man mine regrow in a week ..especially when it's a full moon... ;D ok this isn't an islamic answer but image consultants advise that hair should be cut every 6 weeks (no more chest hair jokes pleeze!) |
