I remember when i use to IRC several years ago, and during the summer, it seemed like everyone was attending some summer school, or supplementary classes. You guys need to relax! Chill out! | [wlm] Well basically our colleges are rip offs, and only offer certain classes once a *year*.. :'( This means summer school >:( :( :o :'( But Alhamdullilah I have a lot of things planned for summer.. umm The sisters who are going to summer school have decided to meet everyday and have a Halaqa, read Quran , improve our tajweed and discuss all the issues that are important to us. So inshaAllah we are pumped up about that.. Also, we have another Halaqa going on :) And than inshaAllah i am planning to go to this Deen Intensive in chicago :) and some other stuff that i have *planned* in my head.. Lets see what happens. InshaAllah this summer will be a blessed summer for me and Everyone :) :) :) Oh yeah my last day of school is May 10th and than summer school resumes May 20th ::) and inshaAllah i'll be done in mid june.. which means a month and half off...... to relax inshaAllah [] JazakumAllahu khair |

| [slm] my college uses the trisemester system so my lst day of classes is mid june :( oh well, but i get back in after everyone else :D then after that inshallah is ammu mukhtars retreat. then working with young kids for three weeks in science and technology at my campus, (wow it looks like im never leavign my campus, then i have a whole bunch of wedding to attend, inshallah isna again:), and inshallah ill work on getting my license, betul ,lets do that together what do u say? wasalam nouha:) |

[slm] Well my plans for the summer consist of first graduating from school on june 23rd (inshallah) then visiting with my friends who i have seen in forever!! then working all summer and going to driver's ed. and going to all the summer weddings, then going to a family reunion, then isna inshallah so yeah this summer im going to have pleanty to do..and its all going to very intresting :) i litterally can't wait for the summer its going to be soooo great! (inshallah) Adilah |

| [slm] hmm this year is really strange i just quit my job cause they were really racist. So this year i'm going to be very poor..inshalla i'll get that job in London BUT next year inshallah i'm getting my inheritance so i should have enough money! so it's time for a holiday to the bahamas me thinks Isn't life strange ;) |

| asalaamu alaikum, lucky people!! I've got the winter to look forward to..well at least it will be off-season for the factory and it'll shut down for a couple of weeks, that'll give me time to catch up on all the tasks that I've been putting off... I miss summer, I miss being a student, but yeah I wouldn't give up what I have now for anything. Make the most of the long summer days and gather ye rosebuds while ye may, ol' time is still a flyin', and that same flower that blooms today, tomorrow will be dyin'. Carpe-Islam! wasalaam, Ahmed |

| [slm] Considering I am doing a three year course condensed into two, I only have two weeks summer holidays :'( So I'm off to the homeland to visit my family. Haven't seen them in a year and a half... Should be good!! And my date to fly home is the same date that my sis is due her first baby :-X So the timing is perfect :-X wasalaam eleanor :-* |

| Once upon a time.... summer used to mean vacation, family time, fun, traveling, forgetting about school for three whole months... That was a long time ago :) Now, summer is when you're lucky if you can get 10 days off work to go visit family real quick and get home in time to have one complete day of rest before going back to work :o (We really need a stressed out smiley, I think a lot of people could use it :) ) This summer insha Allah will be slightly different. I got a free ticket to Spain because I had so many frequent flyer miles (it actually worked!) so my husband's going to buy a ticket for himself and we're going to spend a week or 10 days there by ourselves, with no cell phones!! Wuhooo! :) can't wait :) This is if they'll give me vacation time at work... |
